Bob Wills, considered the founder of Western Swing, brought his Texas Playboys to Wichita, Kansas and even recorded a live album here in 1958. Now, our friend and National Fiddle Hall of Famer, the one-and-only Shelby Eicher and his Tulsa Playboys carry on the tradition as the epitome of Wills’ legendary sound. Twin fiddles, steel guitar, and a horn section recreate the definitive jazz-infused genre.
